IS THE PROCEDURE PAINFUL?
There is some discomfort however, the clinician will use a topical numbing agent prior to treatment. There is also an anesthesia agent mixed in with the filler itself, offering additional comfort.
CAN I HAVE THE TREATMENT AND RETURN TO WORK?
Yes. There is minimal downtime. Some patients’ may experience some swelling and bruising (depending on the area treated) which will resolve within 72 hours. An aftercare sheet is offered after each treatment.
HOW QUICKLY WILL I NOTICE THE RESULTS?
You will see instant results after your dermal filler treatment. however for some areas such as the cheek for example, may take up to 30 days to see the full effect settle in.
ARE THERE ANY RISKS OR COMPLICATIONS?
As with any procedure, risks may occur and its important that a client is aware of these prior to commencing their treatment. As the skin will be broken there are risks, of bruising, swelling and infection. More serious risks associated with derma filler are post onset nodules ,migration and vascular occlusions. The staff at Visage takes A full consultation is conducted prior to any treatment commencing and an aftercare treatment card is offered.
